As a fourth-generation California native, Carolyn has always felt a strong allegiance to this beautiful state of ours. Having made San Diego her home for several years, she has an intimate knowledge of every aspect of the neighborhoods, whether it’s downtown, the beach, the valley or the desert. It was this love for her state and her dedication to these communities that made real estate her natural calling.

Carolyn firmly believes that continuing education plays a key role in her ongoing success as a Broker & Realtor, in addition to owning her own company. Upon graduating from Mesa College in San Diego with an Associate of Science degree in Real Estate, she has continued to expand her academic horizons through every means possible. Her designation as an e-PRO came only after extensive training and certifies her as an Internet Professional. Upon passing the stringent requirements of the Council of Residential Specialists, Carolyn earned the CRS designation (one which is awarded to less than 4% of all Realtors.) In addition, her GRI designation (Graduate Realtor Institute) demonstrates her commitment to providing the highest level of professional services possible. She has also undergone the challenging education required to become a Certified Distressed Property Expert, a designation which provides her the strong understanding of complex issues in today’s turbulent real estate industry and knowledge of foreclosure avoidance options available to homeowners. CDPEs can provide solutions, specifically short sales, for homeowners facing market hardships.

Furthering her dedication to the business of real estate, Carolyn is an active member of the National, the California, the San Diego, and the Palm Springs Regional Associations of Realtors.

Along with her devotion to real estate, Carolyn maintains an active and healthy lifestyle. In addition to her passion for indulging in the culinary arts, she enjoys travel, photography, interior design, and “catching a wave” at one of the local beaches. And, oh yes... she loves caring for her two Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Madison & Stella. If you see her out and about walking her “girls”, be sure to say hello. She loves making new friends!

Laurie has called San Diego her home for over 30 years, after relocating from her native state of New York. She is passionate about the historical home communities in Metro San Diego, having lived in and renovated several of her own. In addition to her intimate knowledge of historical Craftsmans and Bungalows, she also possesses a strong familiarity with contemporary construction, whether it’s a modern home on the beach or a fashionable high-rise condominium downtown. Laurie’s original career as a Registered Dental Hygienist has heightened her level of customer service and trustworthiness. These two professional loves of hers ultimately led her to real estate.

Laurie is a member of the National, California, and San Diego Associations of Realtors. She also serves as a Board Member of Make It Happen, a local charity group helping others in need…as a matter of fact 5% of her income is donated to this organization.

When Laurie’s not working you can find her running in Balboa Park, hiking the local trails, walking her two Old English Sheepdogs, or indulging in her culinary skills.
